The modern design of Dadeland Mall’s newest wing will feature a luminous cube bollards, tree sculptures, a fountain, and luxury valet with distinctive canopies. A ‘Modern Gallery’ interior theme with stone-clad columns as well as a Missoni-inspired feature art wall will transport visitor’s seaside with touches of turquoise, gold and beige sprinkled throughout. This week's must-do fashion event takes place at Dadeland Mall right in Macy's, and it's really exciting for style mavens all over Miami. On June 22, Lancôme and Vogue Magazine will hosts a series of fashion shows from 11 to 7 PM. Models will hit the catwalk in Lancome's newest beauty must-have: Elbaz’s Lancôme Show eye makeup collection. Guests who RSVP on Lancôme’s website will receive a makeover by top Lancôme makeup artists. Plus, by also RVSPing online you will get to take home a custom mini issue of Vogue, a one-of-a-kind Lancôme makeup mirror, a shopping bag, and a Lancôme Show brochure, all embossed with Elbaz’s chic signature artwork. In case you are wondering who Elbaz is, well, it's Alber Elbaz, the designer from the couture label Lanvin. You can see some of his designs on the collection of mascaras and eye shadow palettes below. His designs consist of hearts, stars, eyes, and polka dots. Talk about a can't miss fashion show.

  • My Favorite Dadeland Mall Find of the Week

I'm always on the hunt for a great piece to showcase on my fashion blog, TheFashionPoet.com, and of course to don in real life. Dadeland Mall has so many of my favorite stores to score my head-to-toe looks.

My favorite find of the week comes from the new Urban Outfitters, and my go-to-shoe shop: Steve Madden. So why this look? Well, fruit prints are really in when it comes to hot summer trends, and this feminine form flattering fun dress from UO features pineapples. It's a great frock to wear during the day to a beach bash, or on a night out on the town. For shoes, nude pumps are seasonless and a classic wardrobe staple. These Steve Madden ones are from their newest collection and they are uber comfy. Nude shoes not only match with any ensemble, but they are great at elongating legs and making you look taller and leaner.
